PRINCIPLES OF FINANCE
Throughout this course, students will be exposed to various financial
tools, financial markets, financial theories and financial management
techniques that can be used to manage the firm's finance and finance
decision effectively.
Professional English 1 (MICET)
This module covers important aspects in workplace communication. Students will be introduced to a few topics such as business correspondence (business letters and proposals), meetings, documentations of a meeting and exposes the students to event organization.
Professional English 2 (MESTECH)
This module focuses on equipping students with appropriate technical communication
skills and skills in writing a technical report. Students will embark on a technical
writing project where they are exposed to the proper method in writing a technical
report. Students are required to contact a personnel from the industry. Once the
person is identified, students are then to correspond with him/her formally, which
involves them setting a meeting to interview the person they have chosen.
PROPRIOCEPTIVE NEUROMUSCULAR FACILITATION
Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) is used as one of rehabilitation techniques have been practiced in the physical rehabilitation to improve muscle thickness, range of motion, flexibility, balance, gait & many more.
RAC CONTROL
Automatic control system and control devices that apply in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning system.
Radiographic Pathology
This course introduces students to the fundamental knowledge of pathology detection through varieties of x-ray examinations. It will help the students to differentiate normal and abnormal radiographic image appearance.
SELECTED TOPIC IN COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS
This course aimed to provide students with the idea of the latest communication technologies available. Students will acquire knowledge to describe the concept of technologies discussed and relate them to the current user and industry requirements. At the same time, students will be equipped with basic technical knowledge of the technologies. |
Ship Hydrodynamics & Offshore
The course covers Ship resistance & propulsion, marine hydrodynamics & offshore engineering.
Shipyard Management & Project Planning
This course will expose students on how to manage a shipyard and the various engineering projects within the shipyard (ie as Shipyard Manager and Project Manager)
