ACD12103 - PHYSICS AND WEIGHT & BALANCE
Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:
- Explain (C2) the theoretical effect of mass, weight, density, specific gravity, energy & stresses in conjunction with aircraft performance.
- Explain (C2) the application of mechanical advantage
of aircraft systems. - Calculate (C3) the problem related to motion, fluid mechanic and thermodynamic in the field of aviation physics using relevant formulas.
- Determine (C4), explain (C2) and describe (C1) the operation of parts and components related to flight fundamentals and the basic aircraft controls and their applications.
- Weight the aircraft in accordance with the aircraft manual correctly.
- Correctly calculate (C4) the weight & balance center of gravity in various areas and conditions and determine the weight and balance scheduling requirement as per aviation regulatory body.
