Upon completion of this course students should be able to:
- State, calculate and explain the basic concepts and properties of electricity, magnetism and electromagnetisim in a circuit
- Describe basic concpets of direct current (dc) and alternate current (ac) circuits such as charge, current, voltage, power, energy and elements in electrical circuit.
- Solve practical circuits’ problems containing resistors, capacitors and inductors.
- Acquire adequate knowledge on electrical single and three phase system and the operation of electrical machines.
- Simulate and solve electrical circuit problem using MULTISIM

JCB10403 - INTRODUCTION TO WORKSHOP PRACTICE
Workshop Technology provides exposure to the students in using hand
tools correctly and safely, industrial safety, plant and shop layout and
maintenance. It also emphasis on ways of operating equipment
correctly and safely and gives emphasis on concept of tolerance in
production process.
