Students should be able to:

SYNOPSIS
This course is aimed at providing fundamental concepts of calculus. The students will be exposed to the theories and applications of trigonometry, functions, limits, differentiation and integration. These are essential since the students will encounter the components in science and engineering technology problems.
WQD10103 - TECHNICAL MATHEMATICS 1
Learning Outcomes:
At the end of the semester, students should be able to:
- Solve operations and problems related to algebra.
- Apply trigonometric functions in solving triangular problems.
- Solve complex number operations in several forms.
WQD10203 - TECHNICAL MATHEMATICS 2
This course will cover intermediate level of mathematics involving trigonometry, functions, limits, differentiation and integration. It emphasizes on developing students mathematical competencies in calculus to prepare them for higher level of mathematics and studies in science and engineering technology programmes.
