Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a self-regulating business model that helps a company be socially accountable to itself, its stakeholders (employees, customers, suppliers, investors, and the wider community), and the public.

Essentially, CSR means that a company operates in ways that enhance society and the environment, rather than contributing negatively to them. It goes beyond merely complying with legal requirements, involving voluntary actions that further social good.
