This subject discusses the importance of strategic management practice in a business organization. The concept and scope of strategic management and the cost and benefit of strategic management practices are also reviewed. It will also describe the business charter of objectives, its characteristics and components, corporate strategy formulation, strategic business unit, tactical program, and portfolio management of businesses. The students will also be exposed to the analysis and techniques in managing various strategies, required in running an organization.
