This course introduces the fundamental principles of physics and aerodynamics that form the foundation of aviation and aerospace engineering. Students will learn the concepts of matter, force, motion, energy, and their applications to engineering systems. The course also covers the basic principles of fluid mechanics and airflow, explaining how aircraft generate lift, experience drag, and maintain stable flight. Practical examples and laboratory activities help students relate theoretical concepts to real aviation applications. The curriculum is for first-year Bachelor in Aircraft Engineering Technology programs, where physics provides the scientific foundation and aerodynamics applies fluid mechanics to aircraft.
